The Google Pixel 4a was a globally famous budget phone from Google. In India, it was always in demand and as a result, it always got out of stock. The main reason for the demand is its performance, 5G support, and of course camera performance.

Google Pixel 4a is a midrange Pixel phone from 3rd August 2020. It is not the oldest phone but it’s always out of stock. You can buy this phone in renewed condition from Amazon for a price of 18k. In my suggestion don’t buy a new one instead buy Pixel 6a or wait for Pixel 7a price down.

The starting price was Rs  30,000 for the 128GB variant at the time of launch. Now this phone is not available in brand-new condition but it is available in refurbished condition. It costs Rs. 18,000 for 6GB + 128GB price may vary depending on device conditions.

Design | Build

The design of the phone was in buzz due to the minimalistic and simple design approach. The phone is completely made up of plastic or carbon fibre. This might be not the best build quality but Google has made a good finishing touch.

This phone comes with a dual camera setup with a punch-hole camera at the front. Interestingly, this device comes with a physical fingerprint sensor at the back. overall, the display is protected with corning gorilla glass 3.

This device is super handy when it comes to real-time usage. Because of the display size, every corner of the display is easily reachable. Although, it is a mid-range phone but feels premium and its build quality is good.

Google Pixel 4a 5G has a 6.2-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Its pixel density is around 413 pixels per inch (ppi) and supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) for better colours and contrast. The display has thin bezels and a small hole-punch cutout in the top left corner to accommodate the front-facing camera.
